This flameless LED votive is a tribute to the Tree of Life, symbolizing the afterlife and the connection between earth and heaven. The Celts held trees in such high regard that they considered them ancestors and guardians of the Celtic Otherworld, making the Tree of Life a sacred element in Celtic culture.
My handcrafted votive lanterns, laser-cut from birch plywood, feature a natural blonde clearcoat finish. Their dimensions are 3.75 inches wide, 3.75 inches deep, and 3.875 inches tall. The assembly joints boast a small, high-repeat pattern that enhances both strength and aesthetics. Each lantern includes a flickering LED tealight candle, complete with a battery. The provided tealight projects bright, dancing light patterns, while the frosted "vellum" diffuser emits a softer, more diffuse light. These lanterns are designed for indoor use only.
