Magical Fairy Doors bring a sense of joy, imagination and wonder wherever you display them. They can be mounted low on a wall (traditional), high on a shelf or anywhere in your home. Perfect for a child’s bedroom, they are not only a catalyst for imaginative play, but can but can be a part of helping children through difficult stages like sleeping through the night, potty training or moving to a new home. Creative moms and dads have used a tiny bit of craft-store glitter to simulate “Fairy Dust” to let children know that their fairy friends have visited during the night.
I began crafting my Magical Fairy Doors in 2013 when I was selling at outdoor markets and festivals. The original versions were carved with a CNC router and intended for outdoor use in “Fairy Gardens”. Requests for an indoor version came quickly and were very popular. For 2024, I decided to create a 3D laser-cut variation based on my original designs allowing me to offer it at a more affordable price with the personalized banner included.
The doors are all approximately 6” high and 5” to 5.5” wide (depending on design), and are individually hand-painted. 3M “Command” strips are included for mounting. Indoor use only.
